The Oneness of Being

A philosophical exploration of reality, consciousness, and the unity of existence.

About the Book

The Oneness of Being presents the foundational philosophy of the Hakimian Institute. It develops a unified account of being, consciousness, and knowledge through the principle that reality is ultimately intelligible as a coherent whole.

Drawing upon philosophy, mathematics, theology, and the perennial tradition, the book proposes a systematic framework through which diverse disciplines may be understood within a single vision.

Structure of the Book

Oneness of Being unfolds through three interconnected movements, progressing from the foundations of reality, through the generation of consciousness, to the architecture of knowledge itself.

Volume I — Ontology

The first volume establishes the philosophical foundations of the work. It explores the nature of being, consciousness, unity, and reality, introducing the core principles of the Oneness of Being and the fundamental structures from which the remainder of the philosophy is developed.

Volume II — Ontogeny

The second volume examines the generation and unfolding of consciousness. Beginning from the principles established in Ontology, it investigates how being gives rise to perception, conception, language, knowledge, and the dynamic processes through which consciousness develops.

Volume III — Ontography

The final volume presents a universal architecture of knowledge. Drawing together the preceding foundations, it organises philosophy, mathematics, science, language, theology, and the humanities within a unified conceptual framework known as the Universal Diagram, revealing the intrinsic relationships between the disciplines as expressions of a single intelligible reality.

Beyond the Book

Oneness of Being is intended as the beginning of a broader philosophical journey. The ideas introduced in this volume are further developed through the research, educational, and practical work of the Hakimian Institute.

From these foundations emerge a growing programme of research in philosophy, mathematics, logic, consciousness, education, artificial intelligence, and the sciences. They also inform the Institute's educational programmes, publications, and consultancy, seeking to translate philosophical understanding into practical wisdom and human development.

The book is therefore not simply a standalone work, but the opening chapter of an evolving intellectual tradition dedicated to the pursuit of truth, understanding, and the harmonious development of knowledge.
