Careers

Work at the intersection of philosophy, research, education, and creative practice.

Opportunities

The Hakimian Institute is in the early stages of its development and is seeking thoughtful, creative, and motivated individuals who wish to contribute to a long-term philosophical vision. If you are passionate about ideas, education, research, and building meaningful institutions, we invite you to explore our current opportunities.

Creative Associate

Founding Role | Spiritual Institute | London / Hybrid

Hakimian is a new independent institute for philosophy, consciousness, education, and civilisation.

We bring together rigorous research, publishing, education, and consultancy to develop a unified understanding of being, consciousness, and human development. Our work spans philosophy, mathematics, psychology, artificial intelligence, education, systems thinking, and the humanities, with the aim of applying first principles to some of the most fundamental questions facing individuals and organisations today.

We are seeking a Creative Associate to join us during the institute's founding stage.

This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the founder, contributing to the development of a new intellectual institution from the ground up. You will help shape how ideas move from research into books, lectures, courses, media, and public engagement.

The role is deliberately broad and will evolve alongside both the institute and your own strengths.

1. Creative Production

You will work closely with the founder to develop and produce high-quality educational and creative content.

This may include:

  • Recording and editing lectures, interviews, podcasts, and discussions

  • Producing long-form educational videos and short-form digital content

  • Developing visual assets for books, research papers, presentations, and publications

  • Contributing creative direction across photography, film, graphics, and design

  • Helping establish a distinctive visual identity for Hakimian

We are looking for someone who sees media as more than marketing. You should care deeply about craftsmanship and understand how thoughtful creative work can communicate complex ideas with clarity, beauty, and intellectual depth.

2. Mediating: Publishing, Platforms & Digital Presence

The institute will produce a continual stream of research, lectures, essays, books, courses, and public material.

You will help translate this work into a coherent public presence by:

  • Managing the institute's website

  • Publishing content across digital platforms

  • Supporting newsletters and written communications

  • Maintaining consistency across branding and design

  • Helping develop long-term creative and content strategy

This role combines execution with creative judgement. We are looking for someone who enjoys building systems as much as producing individual pieces of work.

3. Communications and Partnership

As the institute grows, you will also contribute to its external relationships.

This may include:

  • Supporting communications with academics, founders, organisations, and collaborators

  • Assisting with partnership development and strategic outreach

  • Coordinating meetings, events, and collaborations

  • Managing correspondence and public enquiries

  • Helping build a thoughtful network around the institute's work

This aspect of the role requires professionalism, discretion, curiosity, and confidence in communicating with people across academia, industry, education, and the creative world.

What We Are Looking For

You may come from a background in media, design, communications, film, philosophy, marketing, or the creative industries.

More important than your degree is your mindset.

You are intellectually curious, creatively ambitious, highly organised, and excited by the opportunity to build something meaningful from its earliest stages. You enjoy learning across disciplines, take ownership of your work, and thrive in environments where initiative is valued.

An interest in philosophy, consciousness, education, or intellectual culture would be an advantage, though it is not essential.

Why Join Hakimian?

As one of the institute's earliest team members, you will have the opportunity to help shape its future.

You will work closely with the founder across research, publishing, education, consultancy, and creative production, gaining an unusually broad perspective on what it takes to build a modern intellectual institution.

As the institute grows, there will be significant opportunities to expand your responsibilities, develop specialist expertise, and take on leadership within the organisation.
